| Care Instructions for Kwila |
| |
| Please read carefully as this information will help you maintain your furniture. |
1. Kwila is one of the most durable outdoor timbers in the world and has been selected not only for its strength and resistance but for its natural beauty.
2. When weathered it will turn a silver/grey colour and natural splitting or cracks will occur. This will not affect the durability of the furniture.
3. Your furniture has already been lightly oiled prior to packaging in the carton.
4. To further enhance the finish and preserve the natural wood colour, it is recommended that Outdoor Furniture Oil be applied before use. See you stockist for details. |

| Kwila contains a high content of resin/sap
which may initially bleed out when wet. To accelerate the bleeding
process and to avoid staining of porous surfaces, hose down
thoroughly and allow to dry. You may need to repeat this process
several times until the bleeding has been completed. Stains
may be removed by scrubbing with a strong bleach solution. If
left the stains will fade over a period of time. Damp timber
surfaces could stain clothing etc. if bleeding has not been
completed. |
| |
| Do not use bleach or apply strong solvents on furniture as these will harm fabric, wood and metal surfaces. |
